In 2008, Jeff Dickert, Administrator of Cooperative Educational Services Agency # 7 (CESA 7), was working hard to develop an insurance savings plan that will help Wisconsin school districts overcome the budget squeeze from years of revenue caps and the current recession. As a past superintendent for Stratford, Oconto and Kohler school districts, Jeff understands the struggles these budget cuts will cause and how millions of school children could be affected. Jeff used his influence to gather together several insurance carriers to request quality insurance programs, discounts, personalized service and rate guarantees in exchange for the opportunity to be a part of the solution.
After long hours, meetings and negotiations, Jeff succeeded in bringing a new insurance plan to Wisconsin schools, including Health, Dental, Long-Term Disability, Life, Vision, Worker’s Comp and Liability.
